Fall is just around the corner and I can already smell the pumpkin spice lattes and cinnamon candles. However, here in Texas it is still over 90 degrees consistently so even though cooler weather is coming, it still feels like a long way off. I’m constantly looking for great summer to fall transitional pieces that will work well in the heat but can move easily into fall layers. Here are a few of the pre-fall pieces I found from LOFT that fit that bill perfectly!

I LOVE this cat sweater mostly because I am a cat person, but also because it is just fun and can go with so many different pant options.
While I don’t usually think of baby blue as a fall color, paired with navy pants or the unexpected pairing with hunter green, it can be a great fun addition to your wardrobe.
Black and white leopard is my new favorite print for fall. While traditional leopard is a fall staple pattern, this more sophisticated version is still interesting, but doesn’t draw as much attention and is slightly more professional.
This basic white tunic will be on repeat come September with leggings and lots of layering options. It is a great staple to have on hand, and the high neck detail makes it classy and chic.
I probably won’t be able to wear this comfy wrap until the later fall months, but when that cool weather hits, I’ll be ready with this gorgeous plaid infinity scarf.
