Our nursery is coming together slowly but surely! It is fun to see what the final design will look like as we get areas completed. I am in love with the space and can’t wait to do a full post on everything once it is completed. This past weekend, we focused on the dresser and large open wall we wanted to decorate. We found this dresser from Wayfair and loved how it filled out the space and gave us a surface to place more decorative and sentimental items.
I know there are a lot of nursery dressers that come with a changing table on top, but we are blessed with enough space to have a separate changing table, so I wanted to use this space for décor and organization.
The gallery wall was fun to create. I made the wooden sign a few months ago at a painting event through work so I knew this was going to be the focal point of the gallery wall. We have an owl theme going for the nursery so I also wanted to incorporate some bit of owl art and found this print on Etsy that was perfect.
The other pieces are prints from Etsy of important verses and songs for this sweet baby. I love finding printable options on Etsy and taking them to CVS for enlargements. Its an inexpensive way to get larger pieces you may not be able to find elsewhere. Just order frames like these from Target or Amazon and you have a great way to have larger pieces on a smaller budget.
The little owl is my favorite part of the whole room. This was the first baby toy we purchased and it is still my favorite. The lamp will be nice for those late night feedings when I don’t’ want to turn on all the lights but still need something to see by.
Greenery is always such a great way to brighten up a room so this faux greenery was perfect for this smaller space. No watering required!
The books are vintage collections of stories we were given from a friend. They add such a cute touch and I can’t wait to read all the classic stories to our little one. The bookends are simple and keep the books organized and contained.
The rope basket will be for toy storage once we have more baby toys to fill it with. It is a perfect size to corral all the late night trip hazards in one place at the end of each day.
I am thrilled with how this space turned out and hope baby boy loves it as much as I do. I can’t wait to see him in this space in just a few short months. All the links for exact products are below.
