The key to a smooth morning is a good routine. I am a morning person so waking up early has never been a challenge (don’t ask me to stay up pas 10:30 pm though!) but making sure I get a healthy and quick breakfast in can be a challenge. I don’t usually take time in the morning to makes eggs and cereal has never been filling enough to get me through to lunch. That’s why I turn to smoothies on work days for a fast and healthy breakfast.
This smoothie is simple enough but packs in a bunch a fruits and vegetables which start your day off right. You can even make up the some smoothie bags with the banana, berries, and spinach ahead of time and stick them in the freezer for a faster process.
I add almond milk, protein powder, and collagen peptides to my smoothies to make them more filling. You can add avocado, kale, or any other supplement to this recipe to make it to your taste. Just blend all ingredients together and enjoy!
