I made this delicious appetizer for a little get together and it was a hit! Sophisticated food doesn’t have to be difficult. Sometimes a simple recipe is tastier than one that takes hours to prepare.
Melon Spears with Prosciutto, Mozzarella and Hot Honey
A sweet and salty summer sensation.
Ingredients
- 1/2 whole cantaloupe melon, cut in spears
- 4 oz prosciutto
- 1 package mozzarella balls
- 1 bunch fresh basil
- 1 oz hot honey
Instructions
- Cut melon lengthwise and into small spears
- Wrap melon in prosciutto
- Put basil leaf and mozzarella ball on cocktail spear
- Secure prosciutto with cocktail spear
- Drizzle assembled melon with hot honey
- Serve chilled.
