It’s the most wonderful time of the year! No…not its Christmas, its sweater weather and boots season! There nothing better than a big, slouchy sweater and a pair of comfy cute boots when it is chilly out and it has been so much fun to see all the fun styles coming out for this season.
I will be honest though, finding boots has always been a little intimidating since I have always had larger calves that don’t usually fit in regular sized boots. Even wide calf boots sometimes don’t fit or there aren’t nearly as many options as there are in regular sizes. Thankfully over the past few years, the selection of wide calf options has increased and I have have found quite a few sites and stores that offer lots of wide options.
I wanted to share my list of go to shops for wide width and wide calf boots for those of you who may also be in the same situation.
For this year, I wanted to focus on making sure I had a few classic styles that could go with lots of different outfits and for multiple occasions. It’s always good to start with a solid pair of black suede knee high boots since they are the most versatile boot style and there are endless ways to wear them.
