I love a good picnic spread! Sandwiches, potato salad (check out my recipe for my famous potato salad here!), fruit, and a blanket spread out on the grass. Does it get any better? I’ve found though, that picnics can be MESSY and you have to pack SO MUCH in your basket that it doesn’t all fit. Then you have the mess of food getting everywhere on the blanket and trying to keep everything on one plate…
I wanted to make my next picnic easier and more elegant so I came up with these charcuterie inspried picnic boxes. You can check out my Instagram to see them in action!
I made two different styles of boxes: a French inspired box and a traditional “lunchbox” kind. Both were DELICIOUS and so much fun to put together. I love these because they are sealed (no spills in your picnic bag!) and you can put them together ahead of time (just wrap your crackers in plastic wrap so they don’t get soggy).
Below are the ingredients of each box. I just put them in divided tupperware containers that I found at the grocery store, but I will link some options below. I have SO MANY ideas for different themed boxes so let me know if you are interested in seeing more!
