If you hadn’t noticed, I colored my hair! You can read all about my transformation from brunette back to my natural blonde here. Now that my hair is back to its usual color, I had to relearn how to care for blonde hair since it has been over a decade. Plus I needed to make sure I took care of my hair after all that heavy coloring and bleaching so that it didn’t just fall out. I made a little Instagram video all about my hair care routine that you can watch here.

I use a purple shampoo and conditioner every other time I wash my hair (I wash 2-3 times per week) to help keep the brassiness and dullness away as long as possible and brighten up the blonde. The Saltair shampoo/conditioner combo have been perfect for my hair and SMELL AMAZING! Plus they are a great price ($12 each) and last me quite a long time.
After every wash, I be sure to spritz my hair with the It’s a 10 Leave In spray for blondes to help condition and brighten my hair. I’ve used the It’s a 10 Plus Keratin for YEARS and just recently switched to using the version for blondes and have not been disappointed. It keeps my hair soft, shiny, and looking healthy.

I finish any heat treatment with the Dry Bar Soda Shine Spray to give my hair just a little added shine and to smooth flyaways.
For any styling or ponytails, I had to make the switch to blonde hair ties and bobby pins since my old brown/black ones were just too dark. I found these amazing hair ties that don’t rip my hair and bobby pins that ACTUALLY hold.

I have truly LOVED being a blonde and keeping up with it has been a fun challenge. I’d love to hear any of your products you use for hair!
